Fitness Question: How to get thin on a low budget

I'm sure you get sob stories all the time, so Sorry if this is the case.

I used to be rail thin and a runner up until 1992 and I tore the hell out of the ligaments in my right knee and was in a brace for well over a year. Of course during that time I gained weight and have slowly added to it on a yearly basis since then. I still have to be careful with what I do, because my knee gives out whenever it feels like.

Then I met Mr. Wonderful, got married, and had kids and all that good stuff. I gained a lot of weight with my 2 pregnancies. I am 5'6" and now weigh about 275. I know I am extremely overweight and I need help. I am miserable and feel like I am holding my children back and not getting out and being active in their life.

But my big dilemma is money. My husband works and I currently stay home with our two girls who are both under 4. So we are just squeaking by right now, literally!

What can I do on an extremely tight budget? I have tried every damn diet out there over my life. I'd love to be able to afford a personal trainer, but the budget won't allow for that now.

Any hints or things you can tell me to help me out?

Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.

.

Heather

heather first start exercising, lift weights 3 times a week, walk, swim or what ever you can do to exercise you or your kids, hell pick up your kids 12 times in a row and then rest and do it again, start to move first off, start with a little and work your way up to more and more each week.

eating will come next, you must eat at least 6 meals a day, small meals during the day, on a real low budget brown rice, black beans, and tuna works great for every meal, and maybe oatmeal for breakfast.

That is a real brief example of how you may do it, though you must start by moving, and yes it won't feel great changing all these things though you must be persistent and committed, never give up set the example by doing it for your kids to practice great health.

The biggest thing is you must no quite you got to stick with it for ever, no matter what.

My website: www.personalpowertraining.net has some great articles to help teach you about nutrition and your health.

Much success, take responsibility for yourself and your kids and start to move and eat right.

Scott

Fat Loss Questions: How many calories does it take to burn 1 lb of fat and 1 gram of fat

I have question.  How many calories do you need to burn one gram of fat?  I know there is 9 calories per on gram of fat, but how many calories would it take to burn one gram of fat? 9?

Thanks,

The Amount of Calories You need to Burn to Lose Fat

You must burn about 3500 kcal to burn 1 lb of fat. (1 pound = 453.59237 grams)

So it takes 7.7 cal to burn 1gram of fat.
